Iraq does not allow the marketing of local meat products produced within the Kurdistan Region, and we seek to thwart this decision

In response to the request of a number of owners of poultry fields producing eggs and other meat in the Kurdistan Region and after the Iraqi government’s decision to stop importing these products due to the lack of control over the border crossings through which some food commodities illegally pass through, and from this point of view I asked His Excellency the Honorable Minister of Agriculture about this Subject answered.
A committee was formed in this regard to reveal the truth of this matter and it was found that the committee allocated barcodes for import in particular, but so far they have been suspended and are not being imported to the southern Iraqi provinces.
